I’ll be at Innotech San Antonio tomorrow.

My agenda:

  • 10:00 - Twitter.  My buddy (and sometime boss) Susan Price.
  • Exhibition Floor until noon.
  • Lunch with my old boss.
  • 1:00 - Building Online Communities.

Hope to see you there.

The Economic Crisis Explained

Blogging is Easy. Blogging is Hard.

Blogging is easy.  Anyone with reasonable technical competence can be up and running in a matter of minutes.  You can decorate your blog with tons of cool widgets.  Your competition is 99.99% garbage, so you don’t even have to try real hard to write compelling content.

Blogging is hard.  It’s hard when you’re trying to raise two kids, stay married, keep the wolf away from the stoop, etc.  You don’t want to have crappy content associated with your name, so you try real hard to make it compelling.  Adding tons of cool widgets is a convenient distraction.

I’m blogging again.
